1. Booking Confirmation
A workshop booking is confirmed once:

written confirmation has been issued by The Candle Company.
Workshop dates cannot be reserved until payment has been received.
2. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
-
Full payment is required to secure all workshop bookings.
-
Payment must be received before the workshop date.
-
Any additional agreed services requested after confirmation may be invoiced separately.
3. Guest Numbers
The Client is responsible for confirming final guest numbers no later than 14 days before the event.
Where pricing is based on guest numbers, reductions after this date may not be eligible for a refund.
Additional guests may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Cancellations
Workshop payments are non-refundable.
Should the Client cancel their booking, any payments made will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Rescheduling
Bookings may be rescheduled with at least 14 days' written notice, subject to availability.
Requests made within 14 days of the workshop date may incur additional charges to cover materials, staffing or scheduling costs.
Rescheduling requests are subject to The Candle Company's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
6. Venue Requirements

-
suitable tables and seating for all guests;
-
adequate lighting;

-
sufficient space for workshop setup.
The Candle Company reserves the right to modify or cancel a workshop if the venue is considered unsafe or unsuitable.
7. Arrival & Setup
The Candle Company will arrive in advance of the workshop to allow sufficient time for setup.
The Client agrees to provide venue access at the agreed time.
Delays in access may reduce workshop duration.
8. Workshop Duration
Workshop durations are estimates and may vary depending on:
-
workshop type;
-
guest numbers;
-
participant pace;
-
venue logistics.
The Candle Company will make every reasonable effort to complete the workshop within the agreed timeframe.
9. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
-
follow all instructions provided by The Candle Company;
-
behave respectfully towards staff and other participants;
-
use all workshop materials responsibly;
-
notify staff of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect participation.
The Candle Company reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any individual whose behaviour places themselves, staff or other guests at risk.
10. Health & Safety
Our workshops involve the use of fragrances, wax, decorative materials and equipment.
Participants attend entirely at their own risk.
While every reasonable precaution is taken, The Candle Company accepts no responsibility for injury, allergic reactions or damage resulting from failure to follow workshop instructions.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising participating children where applicable.
11. Finished Products
Each participant will create their own candle, reed diffuser or other product during the workshop.
As every item is individually handmade, slight variations in appearance are expected and form part of the experience.
12. Photography & Marketing
The Candle Company may photograph or film workshops for use on its website, social media platforms and other marketing materials.
If the Client or any participant does not wish to appear in photographs or videos, this must be communicated in writing before the workshop begins.
