Welcome to The Candle Company ("we", "our", or "us"), a trading name of Inner Alchemist FZE. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products or services from us.
By accessing our website, placing an enquiry, requesting a quotation, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Company Information
The Candle Company is a trading name of Inner Alchemist FZE, registered in the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "The Candle Company", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Inner Alchemist FZE.
2. Scope of Services
The Candle Company specialises in the design and manufacture of luxury scented products and experiences, including but not limited to:

Private label candles

Reed diffusers
-
Corporate gifting
-
Custom fragrance development
-
Candle making workshops
-
Reed diffuser workshops
-
Candle decorating workshops
-
Event activations
-
Bespoke branded products
Additional service-specific terms may apply to certain products or services.
3. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are based on the specifications provided by the Client at the time of enquiry. Any changes to quantities, materials, fragrances, packaging, artwork or specifications may result in revised pricing.
4. Orders
An order is considered confirmed once:

the quotation has been accepted;
-
any required deposit has been received; and
-
written confirmation has been provided by The Candle Company.
Production will not commence until all required approvals and deposits have been received.
5. Pricing
All prices are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice until an order has been confirmed.
VAT will be charged where applicable in accordance with UAE law.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be specified on each quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

deposits are required before production begins;
-
remaining balances must be paid before collection or dispatch.
Failure to make payment may result in production delays, cancellation of the order, or suspension of future work.
7. Product Specifications
Products are manufactured according to the specifications approved by the Client.
These specifications may include:
-
fragrance
-
vessel
-
colour
-
wax
-
packaging
-
labels
-
artwork
-
accessories
-
branding
The Client is responsible for reviewing all specifications before providing final approval.
8. Client Approvals
The Client is responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs, artwork, labels, spelling, colours and specifications before granting approval.
Once approval has been provided, The Candle Company accepts no responsibility for errors that were approved by the Client.
Any amendments requested after approval may incur additional charges and production delays.
9. Natural Product Variations
Our candles are hand poured using premium natural waxes and fragrance oils.
Due to the nature of these materials, slight variations may occur between production batches, including but not limited to:

wax appearance
-
frosting
-
colour
-
fragrance strength
-
glass positioning
-
surface texture
-
botanical or decorative placement
These natural variations do not affect product performance and do not constitute defects.
10. Product Care
Candles and reed diffusers should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.
The Candle Company accepts no responsibility for damage caused by improper storage or handling after delivery.
11. Lead Times
Estimated production times are provided in good faith but are estimates only.
Production timelines may vary depending on:

order size
-
approval times
-
material availability
-
supplier lead times
-
seasonal demand
The Candle Company will make every reasonable effort to meet agreed delivery dates but cannot guarantee specific completion dates.
12. Delivery
Risk transfers to the Client once the order has been collected by the Client or handed to a third-party courier.
Delivery dates are estimates only.
The Candle Company is not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers, customs clearance, weather, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
13. Inspection Upon Delivery
The Client should inspect all products upon receipt.
Any claims relating to shortages, damage or manufacturing defects must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.
Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
14. Returns & Refunds
Due to the bespoke nature of our products, custom-made orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless they do not meet the agreed specifications.
Where an issue is confirmed, The Candle Company may, at its sole discretion:

repair the product;
-
replace the product; or
-
provide an appropriate refund.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Candle Company's total liability shall not exceed the total value paid by the Client for the relevant order.
The Candle Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses including loss of profits, business interruption, loss of reputation or loss of opportunity.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all concepts, product designs, packaging designs, artwork, photography, creative content, fragrance concepts and other intellectual property created by The Candle Company remain the property of The Candle Company.
Nothing contained within these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to the Client unless expressly agreed in writing.
17. Website Content
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, branding, logos and designs, is owned by or licensed to The Candle Company.
No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
18. Privacy
Personal information submitted through our website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Force Majeure
The Candle Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier shortages, transportation delays, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, labour disputes or other unforeseen events.
20. Amendments
The Candle Company reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The version published on this website at the time an order is placed shall apply.
21. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
