At The Candle Company, every candle is crafted using carefully selected materials chosen for both performance and purity.
We have searched far and wide to bring together the finest quality ingredients from around the world. We prioritise natural, sustainable materials that burn cleanly and safely, allowing our fragrances to fill a space without releasing unnecessary toxins.
Our Wax
We use a premium blend of soy and coconut wax, a renewable, plant-based alternative to paraffin and other petroleum-derived waxes.
Our wax is manufactured using sustainably sourced, 100% natural plant-based ingredients, including premium soybeans sourced from Brazil and only the finest quality raw materials. It is biodegradable, cruelty-free, contains no animal-derived ingredients, and is never tested on animals.
Unlike paraffin wax, which is a by-product of the oil industry, our natural wax blend burns cleanly with minimal soot, creating a healthier home fragrance experience while delivering exceptional fragrance throw..
Our Fragrances
Our fragrance oils are developed by master perfumers in Grasse, France - the historic heart of the global perfume industry. With over 50 years of expertise, our perfumers craft fragrances using high-quality ingredients sourced from around the world and formulated to the highest industry standards.
All of our fragrance oils are cruelty-free and IFRA-compliant, and are carefully formulated without phthalates, parabens, or CMR substances, ensuring a safe and refined fragrance experience.
While our candles are primarily created using these premium fragrance oils for optimal performance and scent throw, we can also develop pure essential oil candles or essential oil blends upon request.
Our Wicks
We carefully select our wicks to ensure a clean, consistent burn and optimal candle performance. Depending on the design of the candle, we use either premium cotton wicks or natural wooden wicks, each chosen to complement the fragrance and wax blend.
Our cotton wicks are made from high-quality braided cotton fibres and are completely lead-free, allowing our candles to burn evenly while maintaining a stable flame.
For certain candles, we also use natural wooden wicks, crafted from untreated wood sourced in Turkey. Wooden wicks create a distinctive soft crackling sound when burning, reminiscent of a fireplace, adding a warm and relaxing sensory element to the candle experience.
Each wick is carefully paired with our wax blend to ensure a clean burn, minimal soot, and a beautifully balanced fragrance release.
