To celebrate International Women's Day, Henkel partnered with The Candle Company to host an exclusive candle making workshop for 80 of their female employees at Ivy's Garden in Dubai.
The workshop was designed as a hands-on and memorable experience, giving guests the opportunity to create their own luxury candles entirely from scratch. From attaching the wick and applying their personalised labels to carefully pouring the wax, each participant was guided through every stage of the candle making process, creating a meaningful keepsake to commemorate the occasion.
After pouring their candles, guests enjoyed dinner together while the candles cooled and set, providing an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and reflect on the occasion in a relaxed and elegant setting. Once the candles were ready, guests returned to personalise their creations with a curated selection of crystals, learning about the symbolism and properties of each stone while creating a candle that was uniquely their own.
Hand-poured using a natural blend of soy and coconut wax and finished with a natural wooden wick, each candle combined craftsmanship, creativity, and personalisation, creating an engaging workshop that celebrated connection, creativity, and the achievements of women in the workplace.
